Elize Odendaal has been practicing tax for more than 30 years. She started her career at the South African Revenue Services and worked as Senior Taxation Officer for 16 years. She then joined KPMG as a Manager in the Income Tax Compliance Department. Elize joined BDO and acted as Senior VAT Consultant and has also experience at PwC and WTS (all international audit firms). Elize met Santie at BDO and since then they were colleagues in different projects over the years, she decided to join Interafrica Advisory where she specialises in VAT and also assist clients with a broad range of other taxes. Elize holds a Certificate in VAT and a Gen- Tax G Certificate in Income Tax, both from the University of South Africa (UNISA)
